Foul language should not be used whether you think the customer is listening or not! The customer is giving us access to their private business or residence and we must exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness. Setbacks are common and not unexpected, and good communication eases concerns when things are not going to plan.
The best technicians are team players, able to effectively collaborate with their co-workers and peers. While there may be many times where the technician works alone, some jobs require cooperation and coordination and there is a higher likelihood of success when team members are able to work well together.
Door technician is a job that requires continuous education and improvement. With rapidly advancing innovations in technology, technicians must be willing to learn, and ask questions. Doors and gates can be dangerous if improperly installed, to both our staff and the public. There is little room for error so we make sure we follow instructions, and safety procedures!
